The Nation of Ord withstands the unprovoked blows of the neighboring nations no longer. It calls forth its sons and daughters from the vast oceans of Immoren, who stand ready to strike at their enemies. They command the forces of wind and water, sail and ship. They will fight.

The nation of Ord is well known for harboring allmost any sort of valliant or villain. Any mercenary will work for Ord, although the most well known outfit is the Four Star Syndicate.

While in Five Fingers, its recommended to stay out of the affairs of the Four High Captains, the most powerful crime lords of the city's underworld.

Faction Concept

Personally my vision of the Army of Ord is a light force with alot of flavor centered around its iberian nature and piratical reputation. Some iteresting technological innovations should be present but also combine this with some adhoc resourcefulness. Mostly lightly armed and irregular forces should dominate. For the faction specialty my personal favorite is steam weapons. Also powers based on wind, water, and chance. Captain Dominic Armato, John Montagu, and the Ordic Windswain are good examples of this. Infact I would say the Ordic Windswain and Captain Dominic Armato are presently my two favorite entries and I think they best capture the sort of flavor I would like to see us go for. -Achiles 06/20/2006 12:26pm EST
