Awhile back (months and months ago) I was directed to this site because someone had been working on a WM/IK skirmish game a la Mordheim or Necromunda. However, I can no longer find it. Was this deleted, or am I totally missing out on it, or what? If this wasn't even the right website I'm sorry, but I was interested in this thing (I'm a big fan of skirmish games and I may just make my own rules, I'd certainly be glad to help) - CF
-- I would like to request that we work on Organization of this site. I have invited friends and members of other forums to come take a look at this site and if they like it join and add their own content. The number one complaint I've heard is that it is very difficult to Navigate IKWIKI. I would have to agree. A few examples I have:
1) Clicking on Warmachine takes you to a break down of the different factions and what is available for them, however barely half of what is on this site is listed. Perhaps if it was setup up as links to to each section, So a Link to Khador, a Link to Cryx, a Link to Rhulic Mercs, etc it would be easier to find things.
2) The Link to the Rhulic Demo Expert does not work in the actual Rhulic army section, it takes you to a blank page. To get to the Rhulic Demo Expert you need to click on his link from the front page in 'Newest Additions'.
3) The Pre-Product planning section on the front page goes to blank pages, however when you go into the 'list of projects' link they exist there.
If we want to grow, we need to make the interface as simple as possible for new users to understand. The easier it is for some one new to use the site, the more likely they will begin adding their own content. Maybe it is just a learning curve issue. I know that this is my first time using Wiki and if there hadn't been a template for me to copy and edit my first entry would not have been posted. alot of what I have learned about creating links and entering info here has come from looking at the source to other posts. Maybe if there was some kind of new user guide that could help people like me that are new to wiki with creating links to our stuff it would be helpful. Also a guide of where we need to create thinks to our stuff on the site would be helpful too. My 2 Focus. --HuronBH 19:31, 18 June 2006 (CEST)

- It seems like you have a clear grasp on how to improve the site. Over the next few days I will work on the "getting started" pages, keep up the good work.

Yeah that is probably due to me. I have a tendancy to quickly type the thing up and save it, then go back it save it with almost every individual error I correct. I noticed one thing that needs to be taken care of. There is no shield entry under ARM like there is in PPs books. -Achiles 06/19/2006 5:20pm EST

Ability Proposal
How do you all feel about using Bold text for ability names instead of italic text. Take a look at the differance:
- Critical Slam- On a critical hit, target is slammed back d6" as per power attack Slam.
- Critical Slam- On a critical hit, target is slammed back d6" as per power attack Slam.

Bold or italic? Primal uses bold
I prefer bold too, for visual. Also, the formatting for Hordes: Primal uses bold text. We should have a vote or something. McGrew 01:44, 23 June 2006 (CEST)
Well if we are going to be trying to follow PP's formatting and go with bold I would also like us to be able to underline and bold special rule headers like UNIT and WEAPON. This is already done in Primal and would help differentiate. -Achiles 06/25/2006 2:36pm EST

Good? We can try it out on a few pages and see what it looks like. I'll put up something on the help pages about page formatting. We probably ought to get this issue resolved, before we have to go back and clean up a million pages (not that it would be hard work, we're not on a time limit, you know!) I have a proposal that I'm goign to wait a month on to see if anyone disagrees. We need to have an outright purge of the site. More than half of the pages I've seen are unfinished or are only part of the way there. Soem don't even attempt to be anything more than some rules thrown down on the page. We need to start deleting these pages, they are effectively clutter.

Agreed, I am sorting useful pages and sorting them into their respective places. I would like to run a system of elimination to remove pages that are in a state of limbo and wont get worked on.
Their is a list of entries for video game characters and some stuff for other game systems that doesnt seem appropraite on the site and hasnt been updated since the site openned in 2006.
The site need easier navigation and some clear consise entries. Things need to be rounded off and finished ive started pulling some pages out of space and putting them into line. Im going to leave notes in some discussion pages asking for people to consent to the pages removal.
