Description
Epic Thagrosh, The Messiah of Everblight, Legion of Everblight Blighted Ogrun WARLOCK CHARACTER
Thagrosh is no longer ogrun. He has become Everblight’s true avatar. It is as thought the dragon lurks just behind the top layer of his thoughts, a vast alien presence looking through his eyes and speaking with his tongue. Similarly, the draconic temper increasingly dominates Thagrosh’s mood. This fury is a brand of searing iron which ignites the pure dragon blood pumping through his veins, pushing him to crush and humiliate each foe he faces. Thagrosh took a big risk by following the Eldritch Goreshade's advice. He had heard that a long forgotten kin of Everblight resided in the Castle of Keys, and was weak. Everblight jumped at the opportunity to increase the power of His Athanc and ordered Thagrosh to attack the castle. After the hard march south, Thagrosh encountered, and defeated the Skorne defenders of the Castle. He left the Twins, and Lylyth to hold off the unexpected attack by the Druids of Oroboros as he descended into the depths. He fought and killed the Blighted Iosans guarding the Dragon, and went forth to kill Pyromafilic. After a long and exhausting battle that left Thagrosh wounded, Pyromafilic fled. The Angelii and Seraphim ambushed and crippled the dying dragon. As it plummeted, Ryhas jumped up, and killed the great beast. Thagrosh found the dead body, pulled the athanc out, and consumed it, and a wave of blighted power spread. Spines and scales grew out of his head and body, and a pair of wings tore out of his back. After finding Rapture(He lost it during the fight), he found that the blade was changing into a blighted mockery of Pyromafilic's skin. After spending some time recuperating, Thagrosh has emerged from the North to slaughter all. He learned from the Shadow of Everblight where the Scyir of Winter is being held, and plans to pay the Frozen God a visit in Korsk. The Legion was shaken, but not destroyed by the Castle, and it emerges stronger than ever, with His Messiah spearheading the assault.

Special Rules
Thagrosh
- Dual Athanc - After leaching, Thagrosh automatically gains 2 fury if he has fewer fury points than his FURY. Discard any excess fury automatically at the beginning of his activation.
- Terror - Enemy models/units in melee range of Thagrosh and enemy models/units with Thagrosh in melee range must pass a command check or flee.
- Updraft - When Thagrosh destroys a living enemy model with a melee attack, he may move up to 1". Thagrosh may not use this ability to move more than half of his current SPD in inches in any one turn.
- Untouchable - When a ranged or magic attack targets Thagrosh, a living warrior model within 3" of him may become the target of the attack instead. Apply all special rules from the attack onto the enemy model. The attack must be higher than the selected model's DEF. If the model has a special rule that prevents it from being targeted by ranged or magic attacks, it sufferes no damage.
- Soulless - Thagrosh never generates soul tokens.
- Warbeast Bond - A non-Unique Warbeast may begin the game bonded to Thagrosh, the bonded beast gains +2 THR. Thagrosh may measure twice his CNTRL area for the purposes of reaving, forcing, healing, and transferring damage.
- Wings - Thagrosh ignores movement penalties from rough terrain and obstacles. Thagrosh may move through another model if he has enough movement to completly move past its base. Thagrosh may charge over rough terrain and over obstacles or through other models. Thagrosh may not be targeted by free strikes.
Pyromafilic
- Asphixiated Breath- When Thagrosh destroys an enemy model with a melee attack, he may immediatley spend a fury point to make a Blighted Breath attack. This attack has boosted attack and damage rolls, and models do not gain a DEF bonus for being engaged against this attack. Once this attack is resolved Thagrosh may then use Updraft.
- Double Bladed - Thagrosh may make an additional Pyromafilic attack during his activation.
- Reach- 2" Melee range
Feat

While the fight against the dragon Pyromalfic weakened him, Everblight and Thagrosh found a good use for his brothers' power in the athanc. By supressing the spiritual energies and thought from the athanc, Everblight unlocked the deep magic with in it. Thagrosh can call upon this energy to blast enemies with sweltering heat if they dare to move against him. Magically charged models are especially susceptible to this blight, permanentally scarring them, so that even time can't heal the wounds.
Enemy models in Thagroshs' control area ending their activation closer to him suffer a POW 12 damage roll. Models with focus or fury on them that end their activations closer to him instead take d3 points of damage for each focus or fury point on that model. Pyroclasym lasts for one round.

| Place a 3" AOE template within 8" of Thagrosh. Models inside the AoE when it is first placed take a POW 13 damage roll. The template then deviates d3 inches in a random direction determined by Thagrosh's controller. Enemy models and friendly non Legion models that enter or end their activation in the AoE automatically takes one point of damage. Blight Storm expires after one round. | ||||||

Concept Notes
It has just been announced that Thagrosh will go epic, so I think that this might be a fairly accurate interperation. The original ideas came from looking over the model, and the template that has been overwritten with another EThagrosh (It was a pretty good idea, but it needed some errata, and next time man, put the idea in the actual column, instead of just leaving it in the template section) Enjoy
