User talk:Mylakovich

- You said you needed editors? Well, in any case I could help some. I'm taking a full load of classes right now so I couldn't help a lot but I pledge to fix any grammatical mistakes I see. CF 00:32, 26 October 2006 (CEST)
- Hey, you should drop a little welcoming message in the userpage of each of the people on the user list who havn't done anything. Thay way they can get back into the swing of things. McGrew 06:31, 20 June 2006 (CEST)
Since you had written somewhere that you wanted to stardize the rules more and make them more like PPs format I thought I would let you know that the Order rule should go under the unit not the Leader. Putting it under the leader implies that it his special thing and not the units so only he can issue the order. it also implies that if he were to die the unit could no longer be issued the order. - Achiles 6:51 EST
- Good catch. If you see anything like this, feel free to make the change. Mylakovich 01:24, 16 June 2006 (CEST)
What are the rules on editing other people's submissions? For instance if I wanted to edit the Billhooks ordic handshake so it was clear it only caused knockdown on a successful hit would that be ok? Can I rewrite part of the submission to increase clarity as long as I don't change how the rule actually functions? - Achiles 06/18/2006 1;43 EST
- Very soon I will be implementing a "Lead Editor" system on each project page. This si the person, usually the creator, who is the most involved with the project and who editors should contact if they want to propose a change. In the meantime, I think you should just go ahead and change it. I know Destroyo won't mind. Mylakovich 22:34, 18 June 2006 (CEST)
- How to I change page names without having to copy all the info on the old page to the new one(I realize I'd have to go threw and change all the corresponding links). Also how do I delete pages I create? Thanks. --HuronBH 22:14, 18 June 2006 (CEST)
- Also, I have decided I am generally interested in joining the Dev Team. I've enjoyed the little bit of editing, adding, and organizing I have done to this site so far and would like to continue on a bit more formal basis. While I am probably not Text Editor material(maybe a bit), I do have some expereince with Graphic Arts and Web Design. I am very familiar with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and multiple other 2D/3D creation and editing tools. HTML too. I worked as the Chief Graphic and Photo Editor for the now defunct 'Iron Fist Online' Ezine. I also have been known to pen a bit of fluff now and then. Let me know if your interested, if not I will just continue editing, adding, and organizing unofficially. --HuronBH 22:41, 18 June 2006 (CEST)
- I stumbled onto this site via the PP Forums, and I think that it has a lot of potential. I've always wanted to do some custom WM stuff too. Anyways, I would be more than willing to help out like we discussed. Like Huron, I have some experience with Graphics and Web design, namely most of Adobe Creative Suite. Guess college has come in handy for something. If you still want to create a Dev Team, then I will surely donate my resources (time permitting). And Huron, if not, then I'll just continue to surf the site and add my $0.02 here and there. --Crann777 8/8/06 22:45 (EST)

In the meantime, I have a favor to ask: Right now the site is kind of bland. How are you for Logos and icons? Lemme know if that's something you'd want to work on. Mylakovich 23:09, 18 June 2006 (CEST)
- Yeah, that is something I'd be willing to do some work on. Did you have any basic ideas you would like me to incorporate. Send me an e-mail(jpowell37@gmail.com), PM(PPForum:HuronBH), or respond in my discussion area here if you have anything. Also I'd be interested in knowing what areas you'd want me to create Logos/Icons for.--HuronBH 01:50, 19 June 2006 (CEST)
If you get a chance, head over you my user page. I'm experimenting with some ideas I have for a Menu(Nav Bar) that be could put on the bottom of a page above Categories. I have a test graphical version I'm about done with that I will post tonight as well. Let me know what you think. HuronBH 05:21, 20 June 2006 (CEST)
I would like to create a template for the warbeast's life spiral. There was a link to an article on the wikipedia that detailed how to work ona wiki but I can't find it other than a link to the wikipedia main paige on the IKwiki's main page. I've noticed nerik created a template for Warjack stats. I'm curious how he learned how to do that. the more I learn the more I can help the site along. P.S. I read the editor's guide a little more carefully and saw the directions on how to find the guide to editing a wiki. geuss I got alot of reading to do now. -Achiles 06/20/2006 3:58pm EST
- I mostly figured out the template by looking at the existing ones - and a lot of trial and error using show preview. The wikipedia page helped a bit as well. I'm not sure how you would go about doing a Hordes style life spiral though. Nerik 10:29, 21 June 2006 (CEST)
Sorry I haven't been on in a few days, been busy with things around the house and with friends. One of my close friends and his wife just had a baby and I have been involved with the celebration. Also I paint models for other people and had a few rush commitions come in last week to get models ready for Origins. I will be finishing them up the last of them tonight so should have time to put some more work into the site starting tomorrow. HuronBH 01:37, 27 June 2006 (CEST)

Basically, if you havnt already, you can basically advertise in the forums. Get the people who do the fan art or fanfics. Tell them you think their idea is cool (or whatever) and ask a retorical question, if they have ever though of doing their character's stats in warmachine. Or a particular scene from their story, or an illustration, do a scenario with those figures, special rules (theres a volcano erupting, or a warjack factory)
Go into the main pages and talk about figures for the future. With the Lion's Coup scenario in NQ, people are probably now thinking about historic IK characters, so i bet people now are thinking WM versions of RPG material. Pefect, since we've got stuff from the Monsternimicon, and thamarite stuff, and Ord, with that book coming out about 5 fingers.
Anyway, yeah. McGrew 02:42, 7 July 2006 (CEST)
4chan Vril WWII thread
Hello and thanks for the welcome. If you're interested in archived threads, there's a Rapidshare with my Firefox saved threads at

We now have a grand total of three registered users mucking in our Vril project. Yay. Silentcook
I just wanted to raise my hand for Editor/Writer. I'm pretty on-the-ball about spelling, syntax, and such.
IKWiki dead? Requiring new leadership?
I just found this site recently, having just gotten into Warmachine as of this league (Occupied Llael). I'm really excited about the potential a site like this has, but it seems like I'm the only one who's been here in ages. Are you still around Mylakovich? - Infernum_ex (28/02/08)
Uncle Biggins is still here
Hey the site isnt dead but only a few people really post when they feel like it really. The site has always had a few people pop in and have a look. A bunch of my friends do all the time and ive so far contributed over 100 different pages.
What the site really needs is a forum or way for editors or gamers to communicate with one another draft ideas and join on making new entries together. Also i would like to add some fiction and history pages to go with the IK setting. I only have access to the world guide as i live in Australia and we get more generic D20 gear than IKRPG materials.
Mylakovich doesnt have to intervene for it to be interesting. Im opening a new link to a intro discusion page that everyone can put write some things down about themselves and what they want to do. This wiki is fun and i it can only improve if we band together coherently somehow.
UB :) (PS: How do you add that signature thing at the end with the date and person who edited
