Warbeast Mutations

- Terrifying: This creature embodies the infathomable strength and horrors that await within the wilds of the world. Its unnatural presence or inhuman displays of strength and dominance send those who face it fleeing in panic. This warbeast gains terror.
- Reaper: This creatures breeding and training has taught developed a new and wild sense of brutality. As its death toll climbs it sinks into a rapid excitement that sees its next flurry of blows kill all within reach. Whenever a warbeast with reaper kills four or more enemy models durings its activation, all attacks made by the affected warbeast for the remainder of its activation gain bezerk.
- Handy Snack: Both forwarned and forarmed, a warbeast has taken to storing choice morsels of meat in stashes across its body to use whenever the fighting has taken a toll on him. Once per game during the warbeasts activation in which it does not run it may use the handy snack to use its regeneration ability without being forced.
- Grissled Totems: This creature is adorned with objects or totems of fallen prey or covered in musky sent that sends beasts wild and instils fear into the hearts of men. While within melee range of the warbeast enemy models/units suffer -1 CMD and Threshold.
- Eagar Forearms: The warbeast in its spare times has taken to crushing trees stones and other objects in its spare times. In battles, these peculiar habbits make it all the more eagar to grip tight an enemy and pulverize it with its mighty claws. A Warbeast must have two claws to mutate Eagar Forearms. Once per game a warbeast may throw or two handed throw without being forced and gains +2 on the attack roll when targeting a model with the thrown model.
- Facebiter: A brutal fighting style, a warbeast latches upon an enemies face with a fanged maw or opened mouth and mauls the still standing opponent with his gnashing teeth or fangs. If a warbeast hits a enemy warbeasts with all its initial attacks, including its combo attack if applicable it immediately makes a free power attack headlock without being forced. At the begining of a warbeasts/warjacks activation, if it is still headlocked by the warbeast with face biter it immediately suffers D3 damage and an additonal D3 damage each time it fails to break the lock.
- Hardheaded: Either through sheer stuborness or a thick skull this warbeast doesnt take a hit lying down. Only the strongest hit the temple can cause it to come crashing to the ground. A Warbeast with hard headed is only knocked down by a slam or headbutt if it suffers damage from that attack.
- Torture Barbs: A Warbeast is instilled with various hooks and instruments to direct his rage. Exessive use of one muscle causes agonizing pain elsewhere. When the pain gets too much careful ministrations allows for a nearby warrior to guide the rampaging beast towards an appropriate foe. Whenever a warbeast frenzies with Torture Barbs while in B2B with an unengaged warrior model then the beasts controller may choose which model that it will attack.
- Ignore Pain: This warbeast through a lifetime of harsh treatment at the hands of both the wilds and while in captivity has developed a resistance to pain unlike any other. When stung by lance, bullet or blade its body quickens and it muscles surge with pain induced strength that allow it to ignore the blow. Whenever a warbeast with Ignore pain is damaged by an attack after it has been resolved it may immediately make a CMD check using its own CMD. If it passes he may remove a single point of damage that was dealt by this attack.
- Leeth Step: This warbeasts movements are preditory and quick but are also used for outsmarting or stepping through the reach of an enemies attack. A warbeast ignores freestrikes for the first 2" of its movement during its activaiton.
- Sharpened Carapace: This warbeast has evolved additonal sets of spines and sharpened spikes atop its back. Whenever a warbeast with sharpened Carapace is hit my an enemy warjack/warbeast with a melee attack with a POW+STR of 18 or greater the attacking warbeast suffers -1 on the damage roll and suffers one point of damage to its body.
- Bodily Sacrifice: This lesser spawns place is to die so its master might live and is ready to endure great suffering so that its controlling warlock may reave its power from its dead body. Whenever this warbeast is transfered damage his controller may choose to double the amount of damage it would normally suffer.
- Acidic Blood: The body of this creature is filled with foul bile and
Enemy or non-faction models within in melee with this creature when it is destroyed suffer corrosion.
- Unsightly Tantrum: Even when outside of battle this warbeast is prone to fits of rage and agression. When it is fully gripped in battle and it loses control of itself its rage and power are a sight to behold. This warbeast ignores lost aspects when frenzied and may make an additonal attack with each of its melee weapons while frenzied.
- Blood Union: This warbeast has strengthened ties with the warriors it fights alongside. No longer a mindless beast, its manerisms and fighting resemble the culture of the warriors alongside it. This warbeast gains +1 on attack rolls when targeting a model that is in melee range of a friendly faction model with equal base size. This warbeast gains +1 Threshold while in B2B with a friendly faction model.
- Enchanted Stone: This elemental construct has been made with stones and reagant from sacred sites of blood sacrifice of extreme potence. Immune to the passage of time, these creations are as enduring as the seasons themeselves. Continous effects on this elemental construct expire on a roll of 1,2 or 3.
- Wild Tracker: This wild beast has learned to navigate all manner of thick and difficult terrain as such it has become adept at tracking and travelling over rough terrain. This living warbeast may run or advance across difficult terrain without penalty.
